Circa 1920. Extraordinary Mono Butterfly Wing pendant with hand painted landscape of trees, mountains and river under a glass top and bezel set in sterling. I love the detail in the trees and grass and of course, the use of the blue butterfly wing for the sky and river. This would be a perfect gift for the lover of nature and lovers alike.
This beautiful pendant is 3 1/2 centimeters in diameter and a fine gauge 16 inch sterling silver chain has been added.
The reverse is stamped: Sterling Silver, England and patent number as well as some worn marks that are not clear with loop magnification.
