Circa 1920. Lovely, large Chalcedony Pendant Set in Sterling Silver surrounded by beautiful marcasite stones. On each side of the Chalcedony the Marcasite stones culminate into a beautiful dimensional flower and leaf design. As shown in the last photograph, the Chalcedony has a gorgeous luminescent quality.
This piece may have been a brooch at one time and was converted to a pendant. The conversion has been done superbly.
This would be an absolutely stunning wedding piece. An amazing and lovely piece for evening with the sparkling marcasites and large blue stone.
The pendant is of large scale 6 centimeters long x 4 1/2 centimeters at its widest point. It is stamped "925" and with a Dragonfly Hallmark or Maker's Mark.
The Chain is stamped "950" and closes securely. The chain is 43 centimeters long or 17 inches.
