Quintessential Art Deco Pendant in Silver, Black Enamel, and Marcasites, centered by a faceted Smoky Quartz gemstone.
The workmanship and details such as the dramatic pronged setting and enameling, a wonderful deco piece to add to an Antique jewelry collection.
It is stamped 925 on the reverse inside top of the pendant. There are maker's marks/Hallmarks at the top which may be: WHS. The marks at the side are an "S" within a circle and the other mark I am not able to discern by loop magnification or macro photo. There is minor surface wear to the quartz stone on loop magnification. This in no way detracts from the beauty, collectability, or wearing of this beautiful antique necklace.
The pendant measures approximately 4 1/2 centimeters long (inclusive of bail) by 2 centimeters at the widest point. The chain measures 64 centimeters/ 25 inches long.
Length of necklace from closure to bottom of pendant is approximately 42 centimeters/ 16 1/2 inches.
