Circa 1940. Made in Mexico Casa Prieto Silver Snail Brooch

Circa 1940. A Striking figural snail brooch. If a Gastropod can be adorable, I think I've found one.

I love the unique pattern for the shell and the silver bead design adds a great dimension.

This lovely creature is stamped on the reverse: Made in Mex, Casa and Prieto.
It is secured by a safety clasp.

Approximate measurements: 3 inches from front to tail. Just under 2 inches high.
