Circa 1940. Locket brooch made in Taxco, Mexico. This gorgeous brooch is a beautiful example of vintage Mexican pieces and particularly, the pieces that I always want in my Etsy store. The locket is suspended by a wing design. The locket opens and can keep a picture or small momento.
Measurements: The wing span is approximately 8 centimeters in width. The length of the brooch from the wing to the bottom of the lock is approximately 6 1/2 centimeters.
The reverse is stamped Made in Mexico and Sterling Silver on the right wing. On the Left wing, Stamps include The eagle assay mark, Los Costillos Taxco and 293.
