Amazing, one of a kind Miriam Haskell Flower Brooch in brilliant and sparkling Pink, Blue and Green Rose Montee Stones.

This exceptional brooch has the qualities you would expect to find in Miriam's handmade pieces. As with many of her designs, drawing inspiration from Nature was something she did with brilliance and whimsy, along with a bit of the avant garde.

This brooch has a wonderful 3 dimensional design, has a double filigree backing as does the entire main structure(double backing). The two layers are intricately and painstakingly wired together.

Such sweet details in this brooch: Tucked underneath one of the petals is a star shaped pink bud along with a blue cabochon glass stone. On the other side, the end of the flower's leaf is done in metal for that extra touch of realism along side the avant garde.

This was most likely made very late 1940's, early 1950's. It is signed "Miriam Haskell" in the no. 33 trademark oval which was has been in use since 1938.

The Brooch measures 5 1/2 centimeters by 4 centimeters.

This Brooch is in its original condition with signs of wear commensurate with the age of this piece. It is in very good condition. A Miriam Haskell Piece that would be a fabulous and important addition to any collection.
