Circa 1950. Native American Turquoise and Silver Cuff
Circa 1950. Native American Turquoise and Silver Cuff
Circa 1950. This Gorgeous Native American cuff features lovely and polished blue green bezel set Turquoise stones and exceptional Silver workmanship. The prominent leaves on each side are integrated so beautifully with the other design elements.
Just as the settings are so important with old stones in vintage rings, and "make the ring", there is no exception here; The Silver work of this cuff "makes the cuff" and incorporates the shape of the stones so well.
I was not on a buying trip when I found this cuff, but realized that it was a piece that should be acquired. I felt that the design was stunning and truly, a bit different than most.
This cuff was acquired in the American Southwest and attributed to Tony Platero a Navajo Silversmith.
The back is signed TP
