Circa 1940. Beautiful, handmade sterling silver necklace. This piece was acquired from the American Southwest.
A gorgeous statement necklace that has such a unique design and beautiful workmanship.. lovely chasing as well as handmade links for the chain.
Central to the necklace, is a striking oval piece of Acoma jet; warm, smooth and with a lovely shine.
Approximate Measurements: The two sides attached to the central design are 8 inches each. The central sterling design is 2.5 inches long x 1.75 inches at the widest point. The Acoma jet piece is 1.25 x1.5 inches.
The necklace secures with a hook and double link end.
Weight is 67 Grams.
The reverse is stamped Sterling and FB for Fred Baca Navajo silversmith.
