Circa 1970. Sterling Silver rectangle link Concha belt. Hand tool work and stamping by Navajo artist Benson Yazzie.
A gorgeous repeating design within each link. The center of each link has a slight convex shape which ads dimension to the belt and demonstrates the beauty of vintage Navajo design and craftsmanship.
This belt would be a very nice addition to a vintage accessory collection or, a Navajo jewelry collection. A versatile Sterling Silver belt that would pair nicely with many items in your wardrobe
The belt is comprised of a total of 16 rectangle links each measuring approximately 1.5 inches x 1.25 inches. The length of the 16 links measures approximately 35.5 inches. There are 5 round links for adjusting with an approximate length of 3.75 inches.
Total length of the belt is approximately 39 inches. The belt can be hooked into, or adjusted, at any point easily between the links as shown in the third photograph.
