Circa 1970's Oval Cabochon Amethyst Ring In 14KT Yellow Gold Mounting

Circa 1970's. Gorgeous and bold 14KT gold ring featuring a 16.12 carat oval cabochon Amethyst. The grooved setting design integrates seamlessly at the top into a sawtooth bezel setting. The Amethyst stone has a purple hue and a medium dark/ moderately strong tone and saturation. Really beautiful.
